The Island’s Beaches

Coucher de soleil depuis un bar de plage à Koh Yao Noi

The Experience

There are no crowded beaches here. You can still find quiet coves, lined with coconut palms, with views of the islands in the bay.

Good to Know

  • Pasai: the largest, with a few small restaurants
  • Klong Jark: quieter, lovely for swimming at high tide
  • Tha Khao: at low tide, a sandbank connects the beach to the small islet of Koh Nui
  • Long Beach, to the north: unspoilt, accessed via a dirt track
  • Important: the tide significantly alters the landscape. At low tide, the sea recedes a long way. Check the tide times before going for a swim
