Activities

Koh Yao Noi is a peaceful, unspoilt island in the heart of Phang Nga Bay. Here, life follows the rhythm of the tides, the rice paddies and the fishing boats.

From Apollonia Resort, everything is within easy reach. Take a longtail boat out to the islands, paddle through the mangroves, explore the island by bike, learn to cook Thai food or simply enjoy a massage after a lovely day.

We’ve gathered our favourite activities here, sorted by theme. For each one, you’ll find a little something to dream about, along with all the practical details to plan it.

Fancy something? Let us know, and we’ll take care of the rest.

Things to know before you go

  • Booking an activity: contact us with the date, the number of people and the children’s ages. We’ll take care of the rest.
  • The best season: November to April for the sea. May to October is the green season, quieter, with showers that are usually short. Boat trips then depend on the weather.
  • The tides set the pace of island life. Many activities are planned around them, and we’re happy to advise you on the times.
  • Cash: bring some baht. Many small shops, as well as the national park entrance fee, don’t accept cards.
  • Respecting the island: modest clothing in the villages, reef-safe sunscreen, and leave nothing behind.
  • Drones: their use is regulated in Thailand and in national parks, so check the rules before bringing one.
