Koh Yao Noi is Thailand as it used to be. No big hotels, no noisy bars. The locals still make their living from fishing, rubber and rice farming. People greet you with a smile, and children cycle home from school. The villagers have long been working together to protect their island and develop sustainable tourism. Simply strolling through the villages is an authentic experience in itself.
